Watched a couple of ESL games at the Intel sponsored stage at Gamescom, some pretty epic matches there. $5000 of prize money for the winner. Ended in a final between MorroW and IdrA.
What was more interesting was how many people sat down to watch; pretty sure Bal has pictures of the semi final. |

| Pretty huge stand for Poisonville which dwarfed the APB stand at Gamescom, which from what I can and did see there appears to be a free alternative. Didn't try it out though. |

| Played Dragon Age 2 at Gamescom, looks like it might be shaping up to be a huge fuck up at the moment. The graphics changes are questionable, but the gameplay is more fluid bu also very simplified. | Finished the campaign. Have tried it online a couple of times with Balgarim in a pair against AI, and some FFA with another friend. I suck at it though. The achievements bore me so I doubt I'll play through again to complete. I might play to try the different options on the "your choice" m... |

I haz been playings Starcraft 2 and more BC2.
Also for anyone who likes the Total War games, the next installment Shogun 2 looks relatively amazing:

| I have played nothing for two weeks. The Witcher is a fantastic game, I played it through a few days after the original english release and updated it to the Enhanced version and played through again. Witcher II is looking very promising. As for what I am going to do now, probably some Bad Company 2... |

| Honestly I'm about as interested in raiding at the moment as Bal is, he put it well when he said it felt like a chore. I might feel differently after the summer break but it seems doubtful. |
